Nusdeh Yoh is situated on the beautiful unceded and ancestral lands of the Lheidli T'enneh. Lheidli T'enneh hubeh keyoh whuts'odelhti. Nts'ezla hubeh yun ts'uwhut'i, ts'uzt'en ink'ez ts'unuwhulyeh.
Nusdeh Yoh – House of the Future - serves approximately 160 students from kindergarten to grade seven. At Nusdeh Yoh, we pride ourselves on embedding the Dakelh holistic lifelong learning model and the First Peoples Principles of Learning into everything we do. Additionally, we are proud to offer land based learning and cultural opportunities for all of our students.
Our staff is committed to providing a strong academic, social-emotional, cultural, and language experiences for the students. We are committed to enhancing wellness and learning through our teachings, after school programs, and athletics. As well, we are dedicated to improving equitable access in all aspects of our school, for all students in our community. Lastly, we are committed to our journey to ward recognizing and implementing Truth and Reconciliation and the TRC’s Calls to Action.
At Nusdeh Yoh, we believe parents play a pivotal role in the success of their students, the school, and the community. Our PAC meets once a month, and we strongly encourage you to join. Together we all achieve more.
